Firejuice conducted a strategic marketing review for Movit Products Limited in Uganda, East Africa.
The business was started by the founder and a friend twenty years ago selling shampoo from the back of a motorcycle and has since grown to one of the largest businesses in the country. As part of its goal to expand throughout East and West Africa, the company owner asked us to conduct a thorough review of the groups marketing strategy and make practical recommendations to improve it.
We conducted an in-country visit that involved interviewing the executive team, conducting trade visits to key regions and stores and reviewing existing marketing materials, plans and customer research to compile a presentation with our key findings.
Following our visit, the business has restructured how it manages its brands to streamline its marketing investment and more aggressively challenge international beauty brands.
