Calmex Telecommunications has appointed Firejuice to support its internal marketing department with project management services during the kick-off phase of the Calmex mobile app launch. The app provides innovative mass-market mobile connectivity to selected markets across South Africa.
Calmex is a telecommunications and technology startup that has developed a free-to-download mobile application that uses data streaming instead of GSM networks to connect mobile devices. Through this technology, calls are cheaper allowing more people to get connected and be part of the future. Through a simple download of the Calmex app, users turn their phones into a data device that functions like a cell phone but at a fraction of the cost since it does not use standard GSM networks
