Growing up in a small town in Limpopo, I had no idea Marketing was more than just advertisements, but I was always enthused by it. After finishing matric, I decided to study Marketing Management at the University of Johannesburg. One of the most exciting projects of my varsity years was consumer research which included putting together questionnaires and fundamentally understanding the role consumers play in brands. This is when I decided I wanted to be employed by a marketing company

Half the challenge of seeing marketing results is to take a disciplined approach to implement the various projects that form part of the overall marketing plan.

After graduation, I joined Firejuice as a marketing assistant with a primary role of assisting in servicing larger clients. But the marketing world never stops; it is always evolving. So, I decided to complete additional digital marketing courses and continue to develop skills in managing projects effectively on behalf of my clients. My current role is now a Marketing project manager which includes consulting to small business owners on how to improve their digital marketing.
