Portfolio Pharmaceuticals is an Indian owned, South African based pharmaceutical company focused on a variety of critical care products and an expanding range of consumer products. The company approached Firejuice to help it refresh its corporate brand and introduce a new range of vitamin supplements.

What we did

We acted in the role of outsourced Marketing Managers working closely with a cross-functional team inside the business to define the company brand and modernise it to reflect a new, ambitious vision. We then guided the business through a process of developing and launching a new product range, called Bodivite. The process involved brand naming, packs design, copywriting and print-proofing in partnership with a Graphic Designer. We concluded our involvement by ensuring all marketing materials are updated, including the company website and sales brochures. 


Over 12 months, we helped Portfolio Pharmaceuticals position itself as a credible player in the South African pharmaceutical industry. The rapid launch of the new Bodivite range opened a new area of growth for the company without having to first recruit an in-house marketing team. By acting as a “bolt-on” strategic resource, we helped Portfolio Pharmaceuticals quickly take advantage of a market opportunity.
