What is marketing strategy?
It’s the process of taking a careful look at your business objectives, brand, customers and competition and deciding what marketing activity would yield the best results given your budget.
How it works
The workshop is conducted by Bernard Jansen, founder of Firejuice and seasoned marketing consultant. Bernard has consulted to over a hundred businesses ranging in size from start-ups to established, mid-sized companies.
The workshop is broadly split into 3 parts:
- Understanding – we jointly review your business, your ideal customer and most prominent competitor and summarise the findings in a SWOT analysis.
- Branding – we clarify how to position your the brand and summarise it in a brand positioning statement.
- Marketing – we develop a plan with clear objectives, a timeline and budget to guide your marketing activity.
After the workshop we type out the notes into an MS Word document which we send you within 1 week of the workshop. We are also available for 6 months after the workshop to answer any questions via email or phone.
The workshop takes place either at our offices in Parktown North, Johannesburg, or at a venue of your choice.
Travel costs outside of Johannesburg are excluded.
You pay half the fee upfront to book your workshop, and the other half at the end of the workshop, and only if you are satisfied that it has met with your expectations.
